Area vetrans, guardians and Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight staff sit and stand in the shade of the Marine Corps War Memorial in Washington, D.C., as First Lt. Matt Rojo, Public Affairs officer for the United States Marine Corps Training and Education Command thanks them for serving. He told veterans that because they fought for America in World War II and in the Korean War, his father was able to serve in Vietnam and now he able to serve his country.
